Stephanie, your tutorials and your brushes are amazing .. thank you so much. So very generous and helpful with your time.

I wanted to ask you something as a not very experienced uploader. If I wanted to make textures or patterns for other people to use and post them on LJ .. is there a prefered size to offer them in? I have no clue about this side of things.

As requested on my DA page…
I had commented you informing you of how i love your brushes and have used them while getting to grips with adobe photoshop CS3
Im new to this and have used them on various skins on my page at
http://www.bebo.com/Smirnoff-Sweetie.

…as this requires a registration i think,
As i upload anything onto DA i will of course Link you…and one i know how to add the stamps e.t.c to the page i will happily advertise my affiliation to your work!

I love it

Go to C:

Click Program files

click adobe

click adobe photoshop CS2 (If you have multiple programs from adobe)

click presets

click brushes

open the original brush set from it’s zipped file (click it, a screen will pop up. the file should be in there)

drag that file into the brushes folder

open adobe.

at the top right, there is a tab called brushes. There is an arrow beside the title once you click it, click load brushes. choose the brush you want to load.

Cowboy themed brushes, eh? Alrighty, I’ve added them to my list of to-do’s. Thanks, everyone! :)

Hi

I have just recently discovered the joys of creating art with photoshop elements. I “doll” which is pretty small compared to what you do–but I was surfing around for patterns and stumbled along your site–wow! The work you create is incredible art! I didn’t realize “real” artists used photoshop like this! I am amazed. I will link you on my site–not that many people will see it, but hey….I downloaded some of your patterns and if I use them I will absolutely link you and give you credit. I just wanted to thank you and tell you what an amazing artist you are!

Thank you for all of your hard work on these brush sets! I was wondering if you’ve heard of anyone else having problems downloading the “Frames and Borders” brush set from photoshoptutorial.com? I tried several times using the different links, but I was not able to successfully download that particular brush set.

Anyway, thanks again! I really enjoyed looking at your artwork. I was interested in finding that skintone tutorial, but I couldn’t find it anywhere. If you have a moment, could you email me a link? Do you have any tutorials for the artwork that you create using Photoshop/Painter?

Hey Stephanie,
Love your site. You are an extremely creative person, I must say. By the layout of your site it seems you scrapbook. I have used your brushes to help complete many covers for school reports and projects. Anyways, I am an 8th grader going into 9th and this upcomeing school year I will be participating in a competition called Think Quest New York City. It requires the creating of an educational website for various prizes. I wanted your permission in using your phenominal lavish brushes when creating my (our group that is) site. I will be sure to credit you for them in the citations page. Another thing I also plan on participating in is The National History Day Fair. This is a tri-board kind of thing, for whihc i may or may not use your brushes, andi am not sure how i would site you on my bibliography for that but i wish to obtain your concent pre-hand in either case. I am not definate of what i will use but either way you will be highlighted for your generous contributions. Hopefully you don’t mind. Keep up the good work. Just wondering, how old are you, I don’t want your exact age or anything but are you in highschool, college, grad school ora bit past that. I don’t mean to offend you in anyway so please don’t mind me asking. If you feel appaled of me asking this and uncomfortable answering this question, that is ok. Thank’s Again. ~ A Fan of Your Amazing Work

Ok I have a confession to make…every other site that I have been to that (perhaps) attempts to offer similar resources, I would literally do a hit and run. grab my brushes and on to the next one. However, after seeing all the brushes, patterns, and textures that you have created and compiled I felt absolutely compelled to praise you for all of the time, attention and energy that you have invested into this site. I even began reading your blog (ramblings) and after learning about your recent tough times I just wanted to let you know that you are greatly appreciated.

I never do this…write to people and tell them what a good job they are doing…I guess you can even say that coming to this website has made me a better person…lol

I know what you’re probablly thinking…if you like the site so much why don’t you click on the link and show me how much you really like this site…and I promise you that as soon as I can afford it I will. Also, should I use any of your brushes in any project that generates me an income I will make sure that: you get proper credit, and I will share a percentage of my earnings with you.

Have a wonderful day, and remember “SHOOT for the MOON, even if you don’t make it you’ll always be amongst STARZ”

Hi Stephanie

Wow! What an amazing person you are. A fantastic website with amazing brushes and all for FREE! And you even go as far as to help poor beginners like me who are just learning what avenues Photoshop CS opens up by giving tutorials. You are an amazing artist.

I see you mention about suggestions for brushes. I am a scrapbooker (like most here I would imagine!) and would like some flourish, swirls and grunge frames for 6 x 4 in or 6 x 6 in (hard to say the size I guess). Is that a bit too specific?!!!

Thanks once again. If you have a mailing list, i would love to be notified of any new brushes.

All the best
